Maibock season is in full swing...and it is time to enjoy these malty, pale to amber German lagers and celebrate Spring. These beers are brewed during the winter months and tapped and enjoyed during the merry month of May, kicking off the of Spring season, the nice weather, and a good harvest.
This coming weekend, starting Friday, May 29th, we are launching a mini Maifest at the Raleigh Times with a Maibock beer tap takeover. We will be pouring Maibocks from Hofbräu in the heart of Bavaria, Munich, Germany, from Asheville, NC's pioneering French Broad River Brewery, and from our good friends and hyper-local, Cloud's Brewing from Raleigh. Come enjoy one of these super seasonal short-run beers with a warm soft Bavarian pretzel with a choice of spicy mustard or beer cheese while they last. You can bring your own stein too and have a brew. Prost!
16 oz. Maibocks $7.50
